EMPOWERMENT
We believe in helping clients build strength, confidence, and awareness, empowering them to carry the benefits of Pilates into their daily lives
From Our Clients
“I am so happy I started pilates! I have been going a little over a month now, twice a week. Before I had chronic lower back pain and everything was tight, shoulders to legs. Now I have almost NO, that's right none, back pain. I have become more flexible and stronger. Such an amazing set of classes and instructors!”

MEET OUR INSTRUCTORS

KATE ODELL, OWNER
Kate began teaching movement at 14, launching a lifelong passion for helping others feel strong, connected, and at home in their bodies. She earned her comprehensive Pilates certification through the PhysicalMind Institute in 2008 and is also a certified yoga instructor with a background in Sports Medicine and Kinesiology. Over the years, she’s taught Pilates, yoga, and barre in a variety of studio settings and worked as a physical therapy tech during college.
After moving to Gainesville and starting a family, Kate saw a need for something different—a welcoming space centered around thoughtful, restorative movement. She opened Town Pilates in 2022 to create just that. Kate loves working with a wide range of clients, helping them build strength, awareness, and confidence. For her, the most rewarding moments are when it all clicks and clients walk out feeling more connected and renewed than when they walked in.

Maria
With over 30 years in movement and fitness, Maria brings deep expertise and joyful curiosity to every session. A former Latin dancer of 15 years, she’s spent the past decade as a Pilates instructor and strength coach, and the last two years as a certified holistic health coach. When not teaching, she’s at home on her Cleveland, GA homestead with her husband, two Shih Tzus, one black cat, and 24 beloved chickens. Maria finds joy in hiking, paddle boarding, rock climbing, dancing, ceramics — and humor in just about everything.

Chelcee
Chelcee discovered Pilates during college in 2013 and began her comprehensive certification the following year, training across all apparatuses in the classical tradition. She moved to Gainesville in 2016 and now calls it home with her husband and their three daughters. With a master’s in Kinesiology, Chelcee brings both academic insight and personal passion to her teaching. Since joining Town Pilates in 2022, she’s loved being part of a supportive team and helping clients experience the full-body and peace-of-mind benefits of Pilates.

ABIGAIL
A Gainesville native, Abigail has been teaching Pilates for two years. Her journey began in group fitness at Pure Barre while living in Athens, where she developed a love for movement that centers intention and alignment. Known for her upbeat energy (she’s the extrovert who still treasures alone time), Abigail thrives on crafting creative verbal cues and watching the “aha” moments land. Her rule of thumb? If there's outdoor seating, she’s taking it.
